Buck Hill, Burnsville, MN

Buck Hill is a ski park in Burnsville, MN. The park offers skitting and snowboarding, tubing, and more. You can go there for individual lessons or to attend longer camps.

There are even concerts held at the hill at certain times of the year - for example, in July 2018 there will be a series of shows, from July 10th - 13th, featuring Loverboy, Little Texas, Starship and Little River Band.

July will als see MTB Open House sessions, and September will see the Bucktoberfest (September 29th, a little early, officially, but that won't make the celebrations any less fun). There's always something going on!

Ski Hard and Have Fun

Skiing is a sport that the whole family can enjoy, and that's shown in some of the events. Take, for example, the Girls Rock camps. These Camps are aimed at girls aged 12-18, and will help those who have a little experience with skiing to become even more confident and learn to race. At the end of the 5th practice session there will be a pizza party.

It's not all aimed at girls, either. There's a 4th Grade passport programme, which lets kids of that age ski for free once they've purchased the MSA passport (which costs less than $20), and there are home school days too, which offer a basic ski rental package and beginer's lessons - perfect for parents who want to take their kids out and get them confident on the slopes.

Fun for Adults Too

While Buck Hill is a really popular destination for parents and kids, it's also great for adults too. The Buck Hill Event Center offers a more luxurious and subdued environment, and is popular among adults who want to host special, memorable events - whether you want a class reunion with a twist, a wedding reception, company gatherings, banquets, or some other adult get-together, this is a great option.

A Quaint Hutch Chalet

The Hutch Chalet is a stunning room that can suit up to 70 people, making it ideal for smaller gatherings. This venue has a wood-burning fireplace and vaulted ceilings, and it has some lovely views of the bottom of the hill as well. You can enjoy a day of skiing then head to the venue to enjoy a meal, presentation, or show.

Those looking to host a bigger venue can visit the Black Diamond Restaurant, which is a retro-themed skiing and snowboarding restaurant with a full bar and a varied food menu. You don't have to book out the full venue either - while it is suited for people who want to host bigger parties it is also suitable for smaller bookings, and offers the chance to enjoy some amazing views of the hill, while enjoing a menu of Mexican and American food.

The menu is varied and should appeal to adults and kids alike, so whether you're looking to enjoy a birthday party or a more high class luncheon. The choice is yours, and you'll have a great time either way.
